GREEN EGGS AND HAM

Here is our St. Patrick's Day tradition: Green Eggs and Ham.

Since I have been feeling better, so we have been out and about more this week. Wes has been taking us on Friday Night Dates. Two weeks ago we visited the RV Show at the Civic Center. I was still hurting, so I did not climb into Every RV, but the kids sure did!!

Wes took us on a drive last Friday night to visit the flood.

I saw this in Lacon, it just struck me funny. River Valley, you ain't kiddin...

This is in Lacon, right near the bridge. This is supposed to be a parking lot for boats near the marina.

Needless to say, it is quite a mess, no boats around...

This was taken right before the bridge, you can see how close the water is too the road. In some spots it was only 2-3 feet away from the road.

This is someone's yard in Chilli, about a block from the river.

Wes has gone fishing here before. Most of this parking lot was under about 5 feet of water.

The ducks are back!! I have never seen so many at once!!

I loved how the sun hit the water here.

We saw almost 90 Deer driving on the Lacon side of the river. They were so pretty!

We were yelling at them, and they ran away.

If you look closely, you can see where the phone booth was...

This is in the parking lot....

And the building, well under water.

This is funny. I have been driving by this little house for years...it is obviously a hunter's littel get-a-way....but it is built on STILTS...at least 12 feet tall.....and it was flooded too! Unbelievable!!
Here is an Eagles' nest. We saw 2 nests that night.
